The Team
Tom Gleeson
My passion for horticulture began in my Nonna’s garden. Popping cherry tomatoes in my mouth as I followed her around her magnificent ornamental and vegetable garden!
I studied Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security at Western Sydney University, continuing with further studies at Tocal Agricultural College and with the Department of Primary Industries NSW.
Throughout my career I have always worked in the horticultural industry. Working for two of the largest fertiliser and garden supply companies in Australia. During university I worked and studied in the National Vegetable Protected Cropping Centre at Western Sydney University which is the most advanced glasshouse in the Southern hemisphere!
I love the technical side of growing plants - soil chemistry, pests and disease management, , soil biology and new cultivation technology.
